Deborah DeNicola’s work in The Impossible is possibly her best. Her poems, which come from the realm where the Muse Goddess dreams, are prayers and incantations of myth, love, desire, and transcendental euphoria. With the rare ability to transfix and hypnotize, in a world luxuriously realized, a landscape jazzed with music, her beats move forward as each perfect piece softly explodes . . .

Lourdes R. Florido An English professor and former journalist, Lourdes has been published in the Sun Sentinel, South Florida Parenting Magazine and other publications.  A Whisper of Angels, is the first book in her Nuevos Angels series about a gay 19th century young man who is murdered, becomes an angel, and endures a centuries' long journey towards towards acceptance and love. Her young adult novel White Trees received an honorable mention in the Independent Publisher Book Awards.   She resides in South Florida with her husband and dogs, and is working on A Longing of Angels, the follow-up to A Whisper of Angels.

Barbra Nightingale is full of vulnerability, smarts, and sometimes hilarity in Spells & Other Ways of Flying.  She brings her witchy poetry powers to these verses of both difficult and wonderful loves. Her fortuitous last name, perfect for a poet of flight, guides us through a delightful series about birds ending with a ghazal, “A Watch of Nightingales.” Barbra is a poet with a wild imagination and a wild heart and, quite possibly, wings!
